Ahmed Mandour

Ahmed Mandour is a highly experienced business strategist and transformation leader. He currently serves as the Head of Strategy, Transformation & Wholesale at Vodafone Egypt since 1999, bringing the Company over 24 years of experience. In his role, Mandour collaborates with stakeholders to build the corporate strategic plan and proposes strategic initiatives; scouts and assesses the ecosystem that delivers analyses and recommendations; as well as initiating new business lines with a full business model.

Prior to this position, Mandour was the head of International, Roaming, and Wholesale at Vodafone Egypt, where he was responsible for analyzing proposed discount agreements and suggested optimal approaches, and managing the roaming discount agreements from an accruals and result perspective. Prior to that, he served as the head of Insight and Commercial Strategy at Vodafone Egypt in 2016. His responsibilities included overseeing market research to identify new business opportunities and client leads, as well as conducting risk assessments, and maintaining beneficial relationships with clients, suppliers, and other business partners.

In 2014, Mandour held the position as Head of Visitors, International & Roaming where he developed the International and Roaming strategy, identified new opportunities for Vodafone Egypt and managed the contractual, operational, and financial aspects of Vodafone Egypt international and roaming wholesale agreements with roaming partners and international gateway service providers. During his journey in Vodafone, Mandour has also served as Head of CVM at Vodafone Egypt in 2011, where he led the design, implementation, and execution of all BTL campaigns via multiple channels to achieve revenue targets. He also directed the execution of all CVM initiatives and campaigns to ensure the highest level of profits. Prior to that, he was a Senior Manager of Consumer Segments at Vodafone Egypt in 2008, where he was responsible for all customer segment group research, including extracting customer data and analyzing profiles to determine market segment requirements. He developed targeted product offerings or marketing campaigns based on customer profiles.

Mandour’s extensive experience includes the development of marketing strategies for the products and services offered to customers, as well as establishing Customer Value Management strategies for customers.
Mandour received his bachelor’s degree in business from Ain Shams University in 1998.
